Hello and welcome to my home away from home! This site is about my favorite PC game, Settlers IV. I've been playing it well over a year now and I still love it just as much as I did when I first started out...

The objective to Settlers IV is to build up a strong economy from a small starting settlement and battle with neighbouring tribes. You can choose from being a Roman, Mayan, Viking or Trojan (the latter only if you have the add-on ‘The Trojans and the Elixir of Power’) all of which have different building needs, architecture, spells and weapons. The Gods help you of course, but only if you treat them well by making regular sacrificial offerings of alcohol. In return they will give your priests the power to create some pretty magnificent spells. Amongst your enemies, you have one even more deadly one….his name is Morbus and he has been exiled to 'earth' for his wrong doings! He has the ability to turn the ground black and infertile and his warriors are unrepentant in their pursuit of green land and you! To make matters worse he steals your settlers and turns them into ‘mushroom polishers’ which makes him all the more stronger!

UPDATE on 28/01/04. It has come to my attention that someone has been using my email address from this web site to spam and send virus's. Until today I was not even aware that it was possible to use another persons email address in this way. However, I have now rectified the problem from this end but please be assured, if you have received a suspicious email from me, sleepy @ sleepysettler.co.uk, this was not me. And I can only warn you, that if you do receive any, do not open them! I do not use that email address any longer and therefore it is highly likely that it is from someone else! Thank you.
